Josh Johnson Has Setback

Marlins RHP Josh Johnson's flat-ground throwing session was cut short Thursday after he experienced minor discomfort in his right forearm. "It didn't feel as well today as it did (Wednesday)," he said. Johnson will try to throw again Saturday.

Bad forearms have led to elbow issues in the past, so the Marlins will proceed with extreme caution at this point with Johnson. Consider him one of the better young arms in any Fantasy league on Draft Day. He is a top 50 Fantasy pitcher and is a nice low-end option for any Fantasy roster, but this arm injury can be troublesome. Continue to monitor his progress as spring training moves on.
