Hanley has tightness in groin

Hanley Ramirez exited Tuesday’s game after just one at-bat with tightness in his right groin. Ramirez would like to return to the lineup Thursday, following the Marlins’ off-day, but manager Fredi Gonzalez likely isn’t going to take any chances with the 2006 NL Rookie of the Year winner. “We'll see,” said Gonzalez. “We'll let our medical people examine him. If it's not Thursday, it's Friday." Ramirez initially tweaked his groin area a few days before while sprinting to first base.
