Hermida: Struggling in spring play

Jeremy Hermida, who exited Saturday’s game early after fouling a ball off his right kneecap, missed his third straight game on Tuesday. Hermida took batting practice, but the Marlins appear to be playing it safe with an off-day scheduled for Wednesday. The 23-year-old was struggling even before getting hurt, collecting just two hits in 35 at-bats for a measly .057 batting average.
