Penny: Dealing with shoulder stiffness

Brad Penny was scratched from his scheduled start on Wednesday night with right shoulder stiffness. Penny, whose fortunes took a turn for the worse after he started last year's All-Star Game with a 10-2 mark, said he didn't feel right after throwing a bullpen session on Monday. Though shoulder injuries generally raise a red flag for pitchers, Penny's MRI showed no structural damage, so don't drop him off you radar just yet.
