Bailey: Will Begin Season In Minors

Homer Bailey, the top pitching prospect in the Cincinnati organization, was reassigned to Minor League camp on Friday. No surprises here, as Bailey struggled to the tune of eight earned runs allowed over 3 2/3 innings in three spring appearances. The 20-year-old fireballer will begin the season at Triple-A Louisville, looking to build on the outstanding performance he delivered between Class A and Double-A (10-6, 2.47 ERA, 1.07 WHIP, 10.1 K/9 IP) last year.
