Isringhausen: Hip Appears Good

Making his first appearance of the spring, closer Jason Isringhausen allowed two hits and struck out one over a scoreless inning of relief Thursday vs. the Dodgers. Though he hadn't seen big-league action since Sept. 6 of last year, Izzy looked sharp, throwing 14 of his 16 pitches for strikes. More importantly, he showed no ill effects from the hip surgery he underwent last September.
